A Boho-Chic design direction was taken for this Executive Apartment in Tampines; where the use of colour and materials interplay to create a textural space. The light-filled living room is seamlessly connected to the dining room and kitchen. By partially taking down walls of the old kitchen, there is visual interest in the new kitchen area with its bold pop of blue; that contrasts yet complements the rest of the colour palette throughout the apartment. Ample seating area perfect for parties and get-togethers is also introduced with the integration of a built-in bench with storage by the window in the indoor balcony area.
The Master Bedroom is now connected to the walk-in wardrobe room via a pair of custom black mild-steel swing doors – where a combination of blush pink and taupe cabinets fill both sides of the room with both open and closed storage. The same blush pink tone is also applied to the Master Bathroom where it is slightly feminine yet neutral when paired with simple white subway tiles and terrazzo-inspired floor tiles.
