In this cozy, lush 3-room HDB apartment, we designed elements with certain qualities of roughness, paired with soft and refined touches to create a home that is inviting, rustic yet chic at the same time. Connecting the main living and kitchen space together, a glossy cement screed floor finish and exposed industrial-inspired black conduit lighting helped to tie in the various furniture and accessories into the design.

A mint and black colour scheme for the kitchen adds a slight twist to the otherwise  monochromatic space; while a varnished plywood full height cabinet in the background works to frame the look. By working closely with the client to curate personal memorabilia, accessories and art pieces, the interior design of this home has captured a distinct character that is unique to the occupant.
